Project Title
Manufacturing Operations Optimisation and Automation Enablement
Project Description
This internship project focuses on improving manufacturing operations through structured analysis, systems thinking, and digital enablement concepts. The project centres on studying manufacturing workflows to understand process flow, resource utilisation, and productivity drivers. By applying analytical methods and data‑based evaluation, the intern will develop improvement and automation concepts that contribute to operational effectiveness and scalability within a manufacturing environment.
Objective Of The Project
The objective is to develop the intern’s understanding of manufacturing operations while building competencies in data analysis, process optimisation, and structured problem‑solving for productivity enhancement.
Project Scope
Study manufacturing workflows using structured observation and data analysis techniques
Identify sources of inefficiency and opportunities for productivity improvement
Quantify improvement potential using data‑driven evaluation
Design and prototype workflow optimisation, digitalisation, or automation concepts
Participate in discussions with engineers and stakeholders to evaluate feasibility and scalability
Learning Opportunities
Fundamentals of manufacturing operations and systems thinking
Application of data analytics to operational decision making
Introduction to automation and digital enablement concepts

Technical communication and presentation of analytical findings
