Intern - Production Planning

The Production Planning Intern will support the Planning team in managing day-to-day production planning activities, monitoring demand, supply, inventory, and material availability, and preparing reports to support effective decision-making. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to track plans, identify potential issues, and support timely execution. This internship provides hands-on exposure to production planning, supply chain, data analysis, and semiconductor manufacturing operations , while developing practical skills in problem-solving, stakeholder collaboration, and continuous improvement. Internship Period: Jan 2027 - Jun 2027 Responsibilities Support the Planning team with daily planning activities and monitor progress against plans. Assist in reviewing demand, supply, inventory and production information. Support the team in identifying and following up on material availability and planning issues. Work with cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics and Customer Service to support smooth operations. Assist in maintaining and updating planning data, reports and systems. Prepare regular planning reports and analysis to highlight key issues, risks and opportunities. Use data to support the team in identifying trends, resolving issues and improving planning decisions. Assist with changes to plans and follow up on actions to ensure timely execution. Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve planning effectiveness, operational efficiency and customer delivery. Requirements Currently pursuing a Degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain or a related discipline. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with an interest in data analysis and reporting. Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills. Able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic and fast-paced manufacturing environment. Proactive, responsible and comfortable working with different stakeholders. Good communication, presentation and teamwork skills. Curious, hands-on and eager to learn about production planning and manufacturing operations. Why Join Ichor?
