Intern - Program Management System Developer

The Program Management System Developer - Internship will support the development, enhancement, and implementation of software applications, portals, dashboards, and monitoring tools to support the Program Management and Planning team. The intern will work closely with the team to understand business and operational requirements and develop software solutions that improve data visibility, automate manual processes, and enhance planning efficiency. This role provides hands-on exposure to software development while allowing the intern to apply programming skills to real-world manufacturing and business operations. Internship Period: Jan 2027 - Jun 2027 Responsibilities: Support the development and enhancement of software applications, portals and monitoring systems for operational use. Work with Program Management and Planning teams to understand business requirements and translate them into simple and effective system solutions. Develop dashboards and tools to provide visibility of production, demand, purchase orders and operational performance. Support the integration and optimization of reports, data and customer portals to reduce manual work and improve efficiency. Develop tools to monitor changes in customer demand, purchase orders, cancellations and required delivery dates. Assist in developing automated reports and systems to improve data accuracy, visibility and decision-making. Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for automation, system enhancement and continuous improvement. Modify and enhance existing applications or programs based on business and operational requirements. Write, test and implement efficient and reliable code. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing systems and applications. Collaborate with Program Management, Planning, Manufacturing, IT and other cross-functional teams to support project requirements and deliverables. Document system requirements, processes and solutions. Support other system development and continuous improvement projects as required. Requirements Currently pursuing a Degree in Computer Science, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related discipline. Programming experience in Java, C#/.NET, C/C++ or other relevant programming languages . Basic understanding of software development, databases and system development. Experience with data analysis, dashboards or automation is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Able to understand business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions. Proactive, responsible and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
