    Job Requisition ID # 26WD100997 Position Overview The Localization team is seeking a motivated and curious Cloud, AI & Automation Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of cloud-native services, AI-enabled solutions, and intelligent automation, with a focus on building secure, resilient, scalable, and efficient systems. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cloud technologies, Generative AI and AI-assisted software development, automation, and modern DevOps practices. You will work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real-world engineering projects, and explore how emerging AI technologies can improve software development, localization workflows, automation, and cloud operations. Responsibilities As part of the team, you will support the design, development, implementation, and operation of cloud and AI-enabled solutions. Assist in the design, development, testing, and deployment of cloud-native services, APIs, scripts, and automation tools Develop automation solutions to improve engineering and operational efficiency Explore and prototype AI/ML and Generative AI solutions for engineering and localization use cases Use AI-assisted development tools to support coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and automation Explore the use of Large Language Models (LLMs), APIs, and AI agents/workflows to solve practical engineering problems Support the integration of cloud services, APIs, AI capabilities, and automation frameworks Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities where AI and automation can simplify or improve existing processes Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve existing cloud services and automated workflows Contribute to automated testing, observability, security, and resiliency improvements Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, documentation, and knowledge-sharing activities Learn and apply modern DevOps, cloud security, responsible AI, and software engineering best practices Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, graduating in 2027 or 2028 Foundational knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript Basic understanding of software development concepts and exposure to cloud technologies Interest in AI/ML, Generative AI, cloud computing, and automation Strong analytical, problem-solving, and learning skills Ability to explore unfamiliar technologies and independently learn new concepts Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse team environment Internship period: 11 January - 25 June 2027 (fixed dates) Preferred Qualifications Programming & Development: Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js, Angular Cloud & Serverless: AWS, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, API Gateway, and other AWS services Generative AI & AI-Assisted Development: Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, Claude, Cursor, or similar AI development tools AI/ML: Basic understanding of machine learning, Generative AI, embeddings, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), or AI agents/workflows Databases & Data Platforms: SQL, Amazon RDS, Amazon DynamoDB, Snowflake Containers & DevOps: Docker, CI/CD, Git, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and DevOps practices Interest in exploring emerging technologies and applying AI, automation, and cloud-native approaches to real-world engineering challenges Learning Benefits During the internship, you will have opportunities to: Gain practical experience developing secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-native solutions Build practical understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and AI-enabled automation Learn how AI can be integrated responsibly into software engineering, localization, and operational workflows Gain experience using AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and prototyping Learn and apply modern DevOps and cloud engineering practices Gain hands-on experience with technologies such as AWS, Lambda, Docker, APIs, databases, and automation frameworks Learn about cloud monitoring, security, resiliency, automation, and operational excellence Experiment with emerging technologies through prototypes and proof-of-concept projects Work in a multicultural and technically diverse environment with colleagues across multiple geographic locations Collaborate with experienced engineers and gain exposure to real-world software engineering and cloud projects Learn More About Autodesk Welcome to Autodesk!
