    The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) is an organisation established by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) in 2024 to harness technology and foster innovation for more efficient, resilient, and inclusive financial ecosystems through global partnerships. GFTN organises convening forums, offers advisory services on innovation ecosystems, provides access to transformative digital platforms, and invest in technology startups with the potential for growth and positive social impact through its venture fund. Role Overview GFTN Solutions combines practitioner insight, policy expertise, and digital intelligence to support governments and institutions in building effective and resilient financial innovation ecosystems. Through its three core pillars—policy development, platforms and ecosystem development, and capacity building—GFTN Solutions delivers programmes that translate strategic ambition into measurable outcomes. The Intern will support the Solutions team across a range of projects, contributing to research, analysis, stakeholder engagement, and programme coordination. This role offers exposure to global, multi-stakeholder initiatives at the intersection of finance, technology, and public policy. Key Responsibilities Research & Analysis Conduct research on emerging topics across financial services and digital innovation. Support the synthesis of insights into structured outputs such as reports, briefs, and playbooks. Assist in analysing trends, case studies, and policy developments across global markets. Content & Report Development Support the development of reports, frameworks, and implementation tools for public sector programmes. Contribute to drafting and refining written materials for internal and external stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination Assist in coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders across multiple geographies. Support stakeholder communications, scheduling, and follow-ups. Contribute to the organisation and execution of meetings, workshops, and programme activities. Project & Programme Support Provide administrative and operational support for ongoing projects. Assist in tracking project timelines, deliverables, and key milestones. Support orchestration efforts across multi-party, global initiatives. Key Requirements Strong interest in financial services and emerging technologies, including areas such as distributed ledger technologies (DLT), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, cloud computing, and digital public infrastructure (e.g. payments, digital identity). Good research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise information into clear insights. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Good coordination and organisational abilities, with attention to detail. Proactive, curious, and able to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Creative thinking and willingness to learn in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
