Role Overview
We are seeking a
motivated and commercially curious Intern – Talent Research & Sourcing (Executive Search/ Recruitment)
to support our consultants in delivering high-quality talent research and executive search work.
This internship offers hands-on experience in strategic talent advisory, where precision, discretion, and insight are highly valued. You will take part in candidate identification, market mapping, and engagement activities across key industries. The role suits individuals who are eager to learn, able to work independently, and comfortable operating in a dynamic professional services setting.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate directly with Consultants to decode client briefs, identify, and map senior executive talent within specified industry sectors.
Conduct structured market research on organizational structures, leadership movements, and macroeconomic industry trends.
Strategically source potential candidates through professional platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, internal databases) and draft compelling, tailored outreach messages.
Progress to conducting preliminary phone/video screening conversations to evaluate candidate backgrounds, career motivations, and cultural fit.
Co-author talent intelligence reports, market maps, and research summaries to back up consultant recommendations to clients.
Maintain data integrity within our CRM/applicant tracking system and assist with interview coordination when required.
Actively contribute to weekly team strategy briefings, sharing insights on talent pools and process improvements.
Profile We Seek
Currently enrolled in a recognised Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, open to all academic disciplines and fields of study.
Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
Professional demeanour, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information responsibly
Organised, proactive, and thrives under the healthy pressure of a deadline-driven environment.
Comfortable interacting with professionals at different levels and building rapport
Interest in business, organisational dynamics, and leadership trends.
Proficient in English. Ability to communicate in Mandarin would be advantageous to support engagement with stakeholders who primarily communicate in Mandarin.
