Internship - Data Analyst

As a Data Analyst intern, you will guided by your Mentor in spearheading the migration and upgrade of critical yield dashboards within the EWM TQTM product suite to a new technical environment. Your primary focus will be ensuring the accurate transition and enhancement of reporting tools that visualize key yield metrics and compensation data. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply data engineering skills to improve the reliability and performance of essential business intelligence assets. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Dashboard Migration: Transform existing yield dashboards into the new environment, ensuring data accuracy, functionality, and a smooth transition. Process Innovation: Identify and propose new ways of working to improve dashboard development, reporting efficiency, and overall workflow. Method Enhancement: Enhance current methods by improving data handling, visualization quality, and reporting consistency. Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with different stakeholders and information providers to gather requirements, clarify needs, and ensure alignment. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Team up with stakeholders from different departments to support dashboard implementation and drive successful adoption. Early Adopter Support: Provide support to early adopters by troubleshooting issues, collecting feedback, and helping refine the new dashboards. Internship learning outcomes Dashboard Migration & Upgrade: Gain end-to-end experience migrating and upgrading production-grade yield dashboards in a new environment, from requirements gathering to deployment. Data Analytics & Validation: Strengthen skills in data extraction, transformation, and validation to ensure accurate yield and compensation reporting. Visualization & Reporting: Build expertise in dashboard development and data visualization, improving reporting consistency, usability, and performance. Stakeholder Collaboration: Learn to work with cross-functional teams, manage inputs from multiple information providers, and translate requirements into deliverables. Early Adopter Enablement: Develop practical experience supporting early users, troubleshooting issues, and iterating improvements based on feedback. Semiconductor Yield Knowledge: Deepen understanding of semiconductor yield computation and common yield KPIs used in operations and reporting. Yield Planning Exposure: Get involved in setting foundry targets and understanding yield planning processes. Business Context: Comprehend how yield data is used in broader business decision-making and performance management. Real Product Creation: Contribute directly to a real, business-critical dashboard product used by teams in production settings. Your profile Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed Educational Background: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. Programming Skills: Knowledge of Python or other programming languages. AI/ML Foundations: Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and data analytics. Advanced AI Experience: Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, NLP, or Machine Learning is a plus. Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
