As a Regional Contact Centre Intern , you’ll gain hands-on exposure to how large-scale contact centre operations are supported by technology, systems, and transformation initiatives. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to learn how digital projects, telephony, CRM platforms, and operational support come together to ensure high service standards and customer satisfaction. How You Succeed You’ll do well in this role if you are curious about how systems and operations work together, comfortable working with technology, and willing to support both projects and day-to-day operations. You are organised, proactive, and able to communicate clearly with different stakeholders. Being adaptable and eager to learn will help you maximise your experience across project and operational work. What You Do Your responsibilities will include: Contact Centre Projects: support and manage contact centre–related projects that contribute to service level and customer satisfaction outcomes Transformation Initiatives: assist in contact centre transformation projects such as Live Chat / WebRTC, Agent Assist (AI), speech-to-text technologies for phone banking, surveillance systems, SMS-OTP and push notifications, email routing and reporting, workforce tools, robotics, and CRM platforms (e.g. Pega) UAT & System Testing: work closely with IT teams on user acceptance testing (UAT), including test case management via JIRA, participation in daily defect calls, and preparation of UAT status updates System & User Support: support contact centre users on system issues, raise and track IT cases, and follow up on resolution Access & Asset Management: assist with user access applications, system access reviews, PC inventory tracking, and installation arrangements Operational Support: support contact centre premises matters, physical access, call tree updates, and overall operational needs Who You Work With You’ll be part of the Service Channels & Transformation team within Global Consumer Financial Services. The team partners closely with contact centre operations, IT, and vendors to deliver reliable systems and continuous improvements. You’ll work alongside project managers, technology teams, and operations stakeholders, gaining insight into how regional contact centres are supported and transformed. Who You Are A Polytechnic student pursuing a diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, AI, automation, data science, or related disciplines Interested in systems, technology, and operational support Comfortable working in a team-based project environment Organised, responsible, and proactive in managing assigned tasks A clear communicator, both verbally and in writing Learning Objectives This Internship Will Provide You With Understanding of contact centre operations, including telephony and CRM systems Exposure to contact centre transformation projects and digital initiatives Basic knowledge of project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and the project lifecycle Hands-on experience in system testing (UAT), user support, and issue management Development of communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills Insight into how IT, operations, and business teams collaborate to deliver customer-facing services Who We Are As Singapore’s longest established bank, we have been dedicated to enabling individuals and businesses to achieve their aspirations since 1932.
