As an Intern within the Global Energy, Infrastructure & Utilities team, you'll gain valuable exposure to corporate banking, industry analysis, and risk assessment. You'll have the opportunity to develop your analytical and financial assessment skills while working alongside experienced bankers who partner clients through an evolving global energy landscape. How You Succeed To excel in this role, you'll need to be curious, analytical, and eager to learn. You'll work closely with the team to conduct industry research, analyse market developments, and support client coverage activities. Your ability to gather information, identify key trends, and communicate insights effectively will help support business decisions and deepen your understanding of the energy sector and its financing needs. What You Do Your responsibilities will include: • Industry Research: conduct research on the global energy sector, including market developments, emerging trends, and key industry participants • Market Analysis: monitor industry developments, commodity trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors affecting energy companies • Financial Analysis: support the review and analysis of financial statements, operating performance, and business fundamentals of corporate clients • Risk Assessment Support: assist in identifying and evaluating industry and company-specific risks that may impact businesses operating within the energy sector • Business Insights: prepare research summaries, market updates, and presentation materials to support client coverage and business development activities • Stakeholder Collaboration: work with Relationship Managers and internal stakeholders to support ongoing client and portfolio management activities • Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on sector studies, strategic initiatives, and other assignments as required Who You Work With Global Corporate Banking partners clients across key industries by providing financing, advisory, and banking solutions that support growth and transformation. Within the Global Energy, Infrastructure & Utilities team, you'll work alongside experienced bankers who support clients operating across the energy value chain and related sectors. You'll gain valuable insights into industry dynamics, corporate banking, and the role financial institutions play in supporting businesses through changing market conditions.
