As a Non-Bank Financial Institutions Intern, you'll work alongside experienced bankers to analyse market opportunities, evaluate competitive landscapes, and support strategic business initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to develop your analytical, research, and presentation skills while gaining insights into banking and treasury solutions for financial institution clients across Asia. How You Succeed To excel in this role, you'll need to be curious, analytical, and commercially minded. You'll work closely with the team to conduct market research, assess business opportunities, and develop strategic recommendations. Your ability to synthesise information, communicate insights clearly, and present findings effectively will be key to supporting business decision-making and driving meaningful outcomes. What You Do Your responsibilities will include: Sector Research: conduct regional market research and industry analysis on insurance companies, securities brokers, exchanges, finance companies, and financial leasing companies across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Hong Kong Market Mapping: identify and map key market participants, industry trends, and emerging opportunities within the non-bank financial institutions sector Opportunity Analysis: perform wallet sizing assessments, banking opportunity analysis, and competitor benchmarking to support business development strategies Strategic Insights: assist in identifying market gaps, growth opportunities, and strategic priorities to support the team's business objectives Management Presentations: prepare concise, management-ready materials and presentations to support discussions with business leaders and stakeholders Business Planning Support: contribute research, analysis, and recommendations for strategic initiatives and client engagement opportunities Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on other business, research, and analytical assignments as required Who You Work With Global Transaction Banking delivers innovative cash management, trade finance, and treasury solutions to clients across the region. Within the Global Financial Institutions team, you'll work alongside experienced professionals who partner with non-bank financial institutions to help them achieve their business objectives. You'll gain firsthand exposure to how banking solutions are developed, positioned, and delivered to a diverse range of financial institution clients while working in a collaborative and forward-looking environment.
