Internship - Strategy M&A Infineon Asia Pacific

As an integral part of Infineon’s global corporate strategy, we at the Strategy and Market Development team are keenly focused on the fast-paced Asian markets, and are actively developing Infineon’s presence in the key growth markets. We are looking for dynamic and highly motivated interns to support our market / business intelligence research and strategy development activities. Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role Undertake responsibilities that involve a blend of desk and field research Collect, clean and analyze quantitative data to develop critical insights and pragmatic data solutions and you'll source, scrub and join relevant public, commercial, and proprietary data sources Apply your deep technical knowledge of machine learning to identify insights and patterns using traditional as well as predictive and prescriptive analytics Design and create advanced predictive models such as support vector machines, neural networks, decision trees, etc., to allow more informed business decision Internship Learning Outcomes The internship provides an unique opportunity to gain deep insights into the strategy function of a DAX-30 multinational company, with specific learning related to the various Asia Pacific market segments for semiconductors and electronics. By the end of the internship, candidates will have worked on a variety of projects, gaining hands-on experience in several areas: Project management, working with team members across various locations and functions Exposure to business intelligence research and data gathering through online and offline sources, including desk research and interactions with various stakeholders Exposure to Data analysis and correlation with operational and strategic business outcomes Your Profile Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed Bachelor’s / Master’s degree student in Business Administration, IT / Computer Science & Computer Engineering, Economics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Strong analytical skills Able to work independently and proactively Able to commit for 6 months.
