Systems Office for Asia – Systems Planning Department [Finance] (ASO – SPD) IT Finance Intern Internship Period: 11 January 2027 - 30 June 2027 Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Intern to support the APAC Project Hub (APH) Phase 3 initiatives focused on Finance Analytics, Dashboard Development, Data Governance, and Technology Cost Management. This internship offers hands-on exposure to large-scale finance transformation programs involving financial reporting, Power BI dashboards, APH financial management processes, Technology Business Management (TBM), and technology cost transparency initiatives. The intern will work closely with Technology Finance, and project teams to improve reporting capabilities, strengthen data quality, and generate management insights. The role aligns with ongoing efforts to enhance financial management, reporting automation, and technology cost visibility across APAC. Finance Analytics & Reporting Support preparation of monthly financial reports and management dashboards. Analyze budget, forecast, actual spending, and variance trends. Assist in project financial tracking and portfolio reporting. Develop financial insights and visualizations to support management decision-making. Participate in budgeting and planning activities, including Gyokei and MTBP-related reporting. Dashboard Development Design and enhance Power BI dashboards for financial and operational reporting. Develop visualizations for: Budget vs Actual Monitoring Investment Tracking Project Portfolio Performance Resource Utilization Technology Cost Transparency Improve dashboard usability and reporting automation capabilities. Technology Cost Management Support implementation and enhancement of Technology Cost Management Assist in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis for applications and technology services. Support cost allocation and chargeback analysis. Consolidate and analyze data from multiple finance and operational systems. Contribute to TBM-aligned reporting initiatives Job Requirements Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics, Data Analytics Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail. Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas); Power BI, Alteryx or SQL exposure is a plus. Interest in financial systems, technology project management, or enterprise transformation. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
