IT Tech Ops Intern

Job description: Team and Position Summary We are looking for driven and curious interns to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a real enterprise environment. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about automation, DevOps, observability and asset discovery. Key Responsibilities Assist in developing and maintain Python scripts for automation and operational tasks Assist in working with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, VPC) in a hybrid environment Support DevSecOps activities (e.g., scripting, CI/CD exposure, deployments) Contribute to observability initiatives (monitoring, logging using Elastic & Dynatrace) Participate in asset discovery and reconciliation Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledgebase Work on small projects or improvements that add real value Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different domains Education and Experience Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Basic hands-on experience with or strong interest in Python programming for automation. Basic understanding of AWS/cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM) is an advantage. Exposure to or interest in DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and workflow management. Available to commence internship from January 2027, Full Time. Skills and Knowledge Foundational knowledge of Python scripting and automation concepts. Basic understanding of cloud computing principles, particularly AWS services. Interest in DevSecOps, observability tools, and IT operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn new technologies. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently while managing tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
