    About Us MetaComp Pte Ltd is a leading Singapore-based digital payment solution provider, licensed and regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a Major Payment Institution, to provide Digital Payment Token Services and Cross-border Payment Transfers. Together with its parent company, Metaverse Green Exchange Pte. Ltd. (a MAS-licensed CMS holder permitted to carry out, inter alia, brokerage and custody services), MetaComp introduces its suite of services through CAMP (Client Assets Management Platform) which allow businesses to develop and scale their digital asset offerings through various products and/or services such as over-the-counter transactions, fiat payments, digital asset custody and prime brokerage. Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to support our Legal and Compliance team. This internship offers hands-on exposure to legal work within a fast-growing fintech, payments, and digital assets environment. The successful candidate will assist with legal research, contract management, regulatory projects, and corporate governance matters while working closely with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Legal Research & Advisory Conduct legal and regulatory research on matters related to payments, fintech, digital assets, corporate law, data protection, and financial services. Prepare legal summaries, memos, and briefing materials for internal stakeholders. Monitor regulatory developments and assist in assessing their impact on the business. Contract Review & Management Assist in reviewing, drafting, and proofreading commercial agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, and other legal documents. Support contract lifecycle management, including document filing, tracking, and maintaining legal records. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to facilitate contract execution processes. Corporate & Governance Support Assist with corporate secretarial and governance-related matters. Support the preparation of board materials, resolutions, and corporate documentation. Maintain organized legal databases and document repositories. Regulatory & Compliance Projects Support legal and compliance initiatives across multiple jurisdictions. Assist with policy reviews and internal governance documentation. Participate in regulatory licensing and due diligence projects as required. Administrative Support Prepare presentations, reports, and legal trackers. Assist with ad hoc projects assigned by the Legal team. Requirements Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB, JD, or equivalent). Strong academic performance and genuine interest in fintech, payments, digital assets, and financial regulation. Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Prior internship experience in a law firm, financial institution, fintech company, or regulatory environment. Familiarity with payments, digital assets, financial services regulations, or data privacy laws. Interest in emerging technologies and the evolving digital finance ecosystem.
