LNG Legal Intern

Osaka Gas Energy Supply and Trading (“OGEST”), 100% subsidiary of Osaka Gas Co., Ltd. (“OGHQ”), is looking for an LNG Legal Intern for the Middle Office to join the company. Role Responsibilities Support the Legal & Compliance team in the review, drafting, amendment, and administration of contractual documents related to OGEST trading and business activities, including Key Term Sheets, Master Sales and Purchase Agreements, Confirmation Memorandums, Confidentiality Agreements, Credit Support Documents, Book-out Agreements, Side Letters, and related documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies Understand the compliance processes relating to Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) requirements Assist in reviewing counterparty documentation and onboarding materials Support the preparation of reports, presentations, trackers, and other internal documentation Support process improvement initiatives relating to contract management and compliance workflows Conduct legal research and analysis to support resolution of legal queries and provide recommendations for business and operational needs Perform ad hoc tasks and administrative support as requested by the Line Manager Competencies Required Strong interest in LNG markets, energy trading, legal operations, or compliance Possess a good working attitude, keen to learn and good team player with strong communication skills Detail-oriented, well organized with excellent time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy For interested applicants, please send your CV as well as your internship availability dates to ogest-hr@ogest.com.sg
