Location: Tuas Kick-start your career in logistics with a role designed for learning and growth. As a Logistics Engineering Intern, you will be part of the Logistics Engineering team, supporting initiatives that enhance warehouse performance, productivity, safety, and operational excellence. You will work closely with Logistics Engineers and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze warehouse operations, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to process optimization, digitalization, and automation projects. This role offers hands-on exposure to warehouse design, lean methodologies, automation technologies, and continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic logistics environment. What will you do: Analyze warehouse processes and operational data to identify opportunities for productivity improvement while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and ergonomic standards. Participate in the implementation of digitalization and automation initiatives, including technologies such as Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and other smart warehouse solutions. Assist in developing, validating, and updating operational time standards to support process changes and continuous improvement efforts. Support the analysis of warehouse storage strategies in alignment with Warehouse Design Methodology and Schneider Performance System (SPS) requirements. Prepare process documentation, reports, and presentations to support project reviews and management decision-making.
