What You'll Do
As a Marketing & Category Management Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience across both marketing and e-commerce operations. You'll support product launches, campaign execution, category growth, and business analysis while working closely with the marketing and commercial teams.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both creativity and analytics, and wants exposure to how products are marketed, managed, and grown in a leading gifting and e-commerce business.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing (50%)
Content Creation
Plan, create, and edit short-form content for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
Support content creation for product launches, festive campaigns, and brand initiatives.
Visual Design
Design simple marketing assets, social media posts, stories, banners, and promotional materials using Canva and AI tools.
Copywriting
Write captions, product highlights, campaign messages, blog content, and marketing communications.
Trend & Competitor Research
Monitor industry trends, social media trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Campaign Support
Assist with the planning and execution of festive campaigns, promotions, product launches, and marketing initiatives.
Category Management & Operations (50%)
Product & Category Management
Support the launch of new products across categories such as flowers, cakes, hampers, gifts, and corporate gifting.
Assist in product setup, pricing updates, product descriptions, and merchandising activities.
Market Research
Conduct competitor analysis and research customer trends, product offerings, and market opportunities.
Data Analysis
Analyse sales performance, customer behaviour, campaign effectiveness, and product trends.
Prepare reports and recommendations to support business decisions.
Category Operations
Monitor product performance and identify opportunities to improve sales and conversion rates.
Assist in inventory monitoring, product assortment planning, and promotional recommendations.
E-commerce Support
Help maintain website content, product listings, promotional banners, and category pages.
Support marketplace and online platform initiatives where required.
Business Projects
Assist with ad-hoc projects related to growth, customer insights, merchandising, operations, and category expansion.
What We're Looking For
Strong interest in e-commerce, marketing, retail, or business.
Creative mindset with an eye for content and customer engagement.
Analytical and comfortable working with numbers and spreadsheets.
Familiar with Canva, CapCut, or similar tools.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Self-driven, proactive, and eager to learn.
Preferably can start in this period: July-Dec/July-Sep/Oct-Dec
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Marketing, Business, Communications, E-commerce, Analytics, or related fields.
Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets is preferred.
Experience creating social media content is a plus.
Interest in e-commerce, retail, consumer brands, or gifting industries is advantageous.
