Position Summary: We're looking for a creative, curious and energetic individual to join our team as a Marketing Intern! If you are interested in venture capital, technology and the startup ecosystem, we would love to speak with you. You will help shape how Vertex shows up online, creating content for our social channels, newsletters and websites, and using effective digital strategies to build brand awareness and foster active community engagement for Vertex Holdings (VH) and its network funds. This is a hands-on learning role. You will work alongside the communications team on real deliverables, see your work published and used, and learn about the venture capital ecosystem, emerging technologies and technopreneurship. Responsibilities: Conceptualise and develop content that builds thought leadership for the Vertex network, including blog articles, reports, social media posts and videos Draft and schedule social posts across the Vertex Holdings and fund channels, driving traffic and awareness of our digital properties through timely publishing of multimedia content Draft and compile newsletter items, working with investment teams and portfolio companies to gather inputs Create and update website content across the Vertex network Assist in conceptualising and designing marketing collateral, keeping the brand consistent across all creative elements Conduct channel and content analysis to assess effectiveness Undertake other duties and ad-hoc projects Requirements: Essential Passionate about marketing, with a good knowledge of digital marketing channels Creative flair and a keen eye for design, with proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop A good communicator and clear writer, comfortable with social copy and short-form content Well organised and detail-oriented, with an analytical mind A team player who is willing to learn and take feedback Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent Nice to have Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, and basic videography or photography skills Familiarity with LinkedIn, CMS tools or other design tools (e.g. Canva) Additional language capability relevant to the network's markets Interested individuals may send their cover letter and curriculum vitae to David.goh@vertexholdings.com with the subject line "Marketing Intern Application: [Your Name]".
