Urban Company Singapore — Business, Leadership & Vision We launched UC in Singapore in 2020 and have grown consistently since. Our services span Home Cleaning, AC Repairs and Servicing, and Beauty and Wellness at home. Over six years we have built a consumer-loved business with best-in-class retention cohorts — one of the fastest-growing businesses at UC, poised to scale further. Role We are looking for an intern to join our Category Team to own our on-ground presence in Singapore. This is a hands-on, field-first role: you will be at malls, condominiums, and community events representing Urban Company directly to customers, and you will design the collaterals that show up at those events. You will report to the Category Manager and are expected to take strong ownership of execution while contributing to how we improve each activation. This role involves occasional weekends, evening and public holiday work, as that is when most activations take place. Job Responsibilities On-ground execution End-to-end execution of roadshows, activations and community events — setup, running the booth, and teardown Representing Urban Company to customers on the ground: greeting, pitching, and demonstrating the app and our services Flyer and sample distribution across assigned zones and hyper-local areas Coordinating with venue staff, vendors and part-time promoters on event day Lead generation and conversion Capturing leads via QR scans, sign-up forms and app downloads, and following up post-event Owning per-event targets for leads, sign-ups and cost per acquisition Marketing collaterals Designing flyers, standee artwork, booth backdrops and signage using brand templates Adapting master creatives across categories, campaigns and languages Liaising with printers and vendors — sourcing quotes, checking print specs, proofing artwork before print runs Maintaining an organised, version-controlled library of all artwork and assets Pre-event groundwork Site recon and venue shortlisting — assessing footfall, placement and nearby competition Liaising with malls, condominium management, and town councils on space bookings and permits Building and maintaining a venue database with contacts, costs and past performance Tracking inventory of flyers, merchandise, uniforms and demo units, and flagging reorders Reporting and field intelligence Work with the team to deliver post-event reportings — leads, conversions, spend, footfall and learnings Maintaining a running tracker so venues and event formats can be compared over time Logging customer objections and questions, and reporting competitor activity seen in the field The Perfect Profile Available on weekends, evenings and public holidays, and willing to travel across sites in Singapore Comfortable approaching strangers and pitching cold — high energy and thick skin against rejection Working proficiency in design tools (Canva, Figma, Illustrator or Photoshop a strong plus) with a portfolio or samples of past work ideal but not required Track record of having run something end-to-end — an orientation camp, a CCA roadshow, a club's flagship event, or freelance design work Strong ownership and follow-through; reliable on timings and deadlines Good communicator; conversational Mandarin is a plus given our customer base Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and handling event materials A team player with service-oriented attitude  What's in it for You?
