Middle Office – Client Onboarding Intern
Internship Period: 11 January 2027 – 30 June 2027
The Intern will support the implementation and enhancement of an onboarding workflow tool across multiple Asia Pacific locations. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business analysis, client onboarding, workflow automation, user acceptance testing, change management, and regional transformation initiatives within a financial institution.
Job Description
Support the project team in the implementation and rollout of client onboarding workflow tool across multiple countries and business units.
Assist in documenting business requirements, user stories, meeting minutes, action items, and project artefacts.
Support the creation and maintenance of As-Is and To-Be process maps for client onboarding and operational processes.
Participate in stakeholder discussions, workshops, and requirement gathering sessions to understand business needs and process challenges.
Assist in country-specific analysis, fit-gap assessments, and documentation of local business and regulatory requirements.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including preparation of test scenarios, test scripts, test data, defect tracking, and progress reporting.
Assist in monitoring and coordinating testing activities with business users and project stakeholders.
Contribute to the preparation of training materials, user guides, FAQs, and communication collateral to support change management and user adoption.
Support training sessions and gather feedback from users to identify enhancement opportunities.
Assist with post-implementation activities, including issue tracking, enhancement requests, lessons learned documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare project updates, management reports, presentations, and key performance metrics for stakeholder reporting.
Job Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess critical thinking – ability to analyze and evaluate issues logically based on the facts and propose creative solutions to these challenges
Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
Teamwork and collaboration with stakeholders
Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to learn in a fast-paced project environment.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
Knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel VBA and other data analytics tools would be a plus
