    About this internship

Are you passionate about oncology, marketing, and making a meaningful impact in healthcare? As an Oncology Marketing Intern at AstraZeneca Singapore, you will support the commercial team across sales and marketing activities while gaining hands-on exposure to the fast-evolving pharmaceutical industry. This internship offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of pharmaceutical marketing, where scientific understanding meets creative thinking. You will contribute to the planning, development, and optimization of marketing strategies for innovative, life-changing oncology medicines. Through collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, you will gain broad exposure to key areas of marketing and contribute to projects that can positively impact patient outcomes. This role is ideal for someone eager to combine scientific curiosity, commercial awareness, and creativity in a meaningful internship experience within the oncology landscape. What You Will Learn In this internship, you will gain exposure across three key areas: 1. Understanding the Oncology Landscape You will build scientific and commercial knowledge within AstraZeneca’s Oncology Business Unit (OBU) by learning about relevant cancers, available treatment options, and the classes of drugs within the AZ oncology portfolio. You will also develop market familiarity by supporting the commercial team with administrative activities and field visits, conducting research into industry trends and competitor strategies, and analysing data to generate insights that inform marketing decisions. 2. Content Creation You will support the planning and development of both promotional and non-promotional materials. This includes working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and regulatory/compliance requirements. You will also contribute to the development of local and international brand presentations that help drive brand vision and ambition. 3. Event Coordination You will support the coordination of both internal events, such as conferences, team bonding sessions, and launches, and external events, including local or overseas speaker-led engagements. These may be delivered in virtual, live, or hybrid formats. Responsibilities will include coordinating logistics, preparing promotional materials, and providing on-site event support where needed.
