Role Description This Onsite position - Robotic Internship (SG) role is an internship based on-site in Singapore. The intern will support the engineering and deployment teams in testing, configuring, and integrating robots with Movel AI’s software solutions. Day-to-day tasks include assisting in robot setup and calibration, running deployment and automation trials, documenting test results, and helping troubleshoot hardware and software issues. The role also involves collaborating with team members to improve workflows, contribute to process automation initiatives, and refine user interfaces for easier robot control. Interns will gain exposure to real-world robotics applications across multiple industries while learning best practices in robotic deployment and system integration. Qualifications Candidates should possess foundational skills in Robotics and Robot system operation. Candidates should possess knowledge in Automation and Process Automation for industrial or service robotics. Candidates should possess understanding of Mechatronics, including basic mechanical, electrical, and control systems. Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Familiarity with programming or scripting for robots (e.g., ROS, Python, C++), and basic troubleshooting of hardware/software issues is beneficial. Ability to work safely in lab or industrial environments, follow technical documentation, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams. Curiosity about real-world robotic applications, willingness to learn, and capability to work independently and in collaborative settings.
