Operations & Finance Intern

Hydra X provides regulatory-compliant, enterprise-ready solutions to prepare institutional clients for the future of finance. We seek to bridge the transition to a tokenised capital markets ecosystem by offering asset-agnostic solutions which allow interoperability between traditional and digital assets. Our clients include exchanges, banks, brokerages, and other financial institutions. We are looking for a driven individual to join us as an Operations & Finance intern. This internship may be full-time or part-time. Interns will have a good exposure to both operations and financial industry knowledge, and will benefit from being at the forefront of traditional financial institutions’ transition to blockchain technology. Responsibilities: Work closely with the operations (custody) team Participate in  business-as-usual processes (account opening, settlement, payments, and reconciliation) are executed accurately and timely Participate in system development projects Prepare regular statistical and management reports Support the review and documentation of operational processes Support client onboarding (AML/KYC) and client servicing Requirements: Undergraduate or postgraduate student currently enrolled in a Singapore university with an interest in financial markets and fintech. Basic knowledge of operational best practices and regulatory requirements Basic understanding or experience in securities / derivatives / fixed income / FX instruments and market practices in issuance, trading and custody operations Self-motivated and particularly interested in custody operations Driven and takes initiative Ability to manage time effectively and comfortable working within tight deadlines Strong research and analytical skills Comfortable in working in a startup environment Ability to read and write basic code would be advantageous
