About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Platform (PaaS/CaaS) Infrastructure Lead
to join a major greenfield infrastructure initiative in Singapore. This is a unique
Build-to-Operate
opportunity where you will lead the design, implementation, and operational transition of an enterprise-grade container platform while managing a team of infrastructure engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end deployment and configuration of the container orchestration platform (Kubernetes/CaaS) and its supporting infrastructure.
Integrate and manage enterprise COTS technologies, including messaging platforms, databases, and web servers, ensuring interoperability and reliable performance.
Drive platform security and compliance by implementing hardened system images, vulnerability remediation, and security best practices.
Establish operational processes, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), monitoring, logging, and observability capabilities to support SLA-driven operations.
Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of 4–6 infrastructure engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
Serve as the primary technical interface for client stakeholders and application teams, ensuring successful technical delivery and collaboration.
Requirements
Must Have
Singapore Citizen (required due to project security clearance requirements).
Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a team of at least 4–6 engineers in a project environment.
Strong hands-on experience deploying and operating enterprise Kubernetes or container platforms (such as Docker or Podman).
Solid Linux system administration expertise, including OS hardening, performance tuning, and complex troubleshooting.
Ability to work fully onsite in Ang Mo Kio within a structured, security-focused environment.
Nice to Have
Experience managing enterprise COTS technologies such as IBM MQ, MongoDB, or similar platforms.
Previous experience supporting projects within government or other highly regulated environments.
Experience with infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Shell, or Python.
