Policy Research Intern

Role Description The Policy Research Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This intern will support research projects by reviewing academic and policy papers, summarizing key findings, and helping to organize and synthesize information within Atlas Workspace. Day-to-day tasks include conducting literature searches, extracting relevant data, drafting briefings and memos, and assisting in the development of research frameworks and visualizations. The intern will collaborate with the team to analyze policy trends, prepare internal reports, and contribute to content that showcases how the platform can be used for policy analysis. The role involves regular coordination with researchers, product team members, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and clarity in all research outputs. Qualifications Strong research and analytical skills, including the ability to review, interpret, and synthesize academic and policy literature. Excellent writing and editing abilities, with attention to clarity, structure, and accuracy in briefs, memos, and summaries. Comfort working with digital tools and platforms for organizing information, data visualization, or knowledge management. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating effectively with a cross-functional team on-site. Pursuing or holding a degree in public policy, political science, economics, international relations, or a related discipline. Strong critical thinking skills and a demonstrated interest in policy analysis, governance, or evidence-based decision-making. Professional communication skills, including the ability to present findings clearly to non-specialist audiences. Prior internship or project experience in research, policy analysis, or academia is an advantage.
