Product Design Intern

About ARX ARX is a mobile-first Web3 trading terminal built by Advance Arx Inc., a venture under Advanced Group — a Southeast Asian unicorn. ARX empowers individual investors with clear, organised access to publicly available market data — enabling more confident and informed trading decisions. About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated Product Design Intern (6 months) to own end-to-end design work across our core trading and social platform experiences. You will move fast, work directly with the Head of Product, and ship real features to real users in live markets. This role sits at the intersection of: Product & UX design Trading UX & fintech Behavioural design AI-assisted workflows Design systems Mobile-first execution Graphic design Marketing collateral Key Responsibilities Core product design Own end-to-end design of key product surfaces — from discovery wireframes to high-fidelity Figma prototypes ready for engineering handoff Design and iterate on copy trading flows: leaderboard discovery, trader profiles, signal feeds, and portfolio dashboards Produce component-level specs and contribute to the ARX design system (tokens, patterns, documentation) User research & testing Plan and run lightweight user research sessions with target users in Southeast Asia Synthesise findings into actionable design improvements and present them to the product team Conduct usability testing on prototypes and iterate rapidly based on observed friction Growth & activation design Design onboarding flows optimised to drive new users from sign-up to first copy trade within 7 days Support A/B test design — craft variant screens, define visual hypotheses, and document results Create App Store screenshots, social assets, and in-app marketing creatives aligned to brand guidelines AI & systems design Design interfaces for AI-powered features — signal recommendations, smart copy suggestions, and risk alerts Collaborate with data science to translate model outputs into clear, trustworthy user-facing UI Explore how emerging AI tools (generative UI, LLM-assisted design) can accelerate the design workflow Cross-functional collaboration Attend weekly product syncs, contribute to sprint planning, and manage your own design backlog Work closely with engineers to QA shipped work against design specs and flag regressions Partner with the Head of Product to define product strategy through design artefacts and visual storytelling What We're Looking For Figma fluency — your primary tool, not a nice-to-have A portfolio with shipped or concept work that shows craft and product thinking Genuine interest in fintech, crypto, or trading UX A bias toward shipping fast and iterating in the open Clear design rationale, written and verbal Bonus: motion design experience or iOS/Android HIG knowledge What You'll Get Direct mentorship from the Head of Product.
