Product Design Intern

Company Description: ChefGenie SG is building an AI-driven urban food retail network designed to make convenient, reliable and high-quality meals more accessible across where people live, work and study. Through our ecosystem, we combine food R&D, automated kitchens, smart equipment, software, supply chain management and food-safety monitoring to support food access across workplaces, schools, hospitals, factories, transport hubs and residential communities. Role Description: As a Product Design Intern (UI/UX) at ChefGenie SG, you will work closely with our Product Design Lead and cross-functional teams to support the design and improvement of our digital and physical user experiences. You will contribute to products such as our mobile app and vending machine kiosk interfaces , helping to translate user needs and business requirements into clear, intuitive and visually engaging experiences. Your responsibilities may include: - Designing and refining user interfaces for mobile and kiosk experiences - Creating wireframes, user flows and interactive prototypes - Supporting user research and usability testing - Translating research findings and feedback into design improvements - Maintaining and contributing to our Figma design system - Conducting design QA to ensure consistency across products - Preparing design specifications and assets for developer handoff - Collaborating with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Operations teams - Supporting the continuous improvement of both digital and physical customer touchpoints This is a fully on-site internship based in Singapore . Qualifications: - Strong interest or foundation in Product Design, UI/UX and Design Thinking - Ability to translate user problems and requirements into clear, user-centred design solutions - Experience or coursework in User Research / UX Research , including gathering insights and applying findings to design iterations - Good understanding of visual design principles , including layout, typography, hierarchy and consistency - Proficiency in Figma ; familiarity with other design or prototyping tools is a plus - Basic understanding of wireframing, prototyping and design systems - Strong attention to detail and willingness to receive, apply and learn from feedback - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment - Ability to communicate in Chinese is required , as the role involves collaboration with regional teams - Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Design, Interaction Design, HCI, Product Design or a related field - Interest in food, technology and digital products - Comfortable working fully on-site in Singapore How to Apply 📩 Send your resume and portfolio to stacey.yip@chefgenie.com OR upload in LinkedIn Hiring post Please indicate “Product Design Intern (UI/UX)” as the position you are applying for. #ChefGenie #Hiring #Internship #ProductDesign #UIUX #DesignIntern #FoodTech #SingaporeJobs
