Product Engineer Intern - Backend Focused

Job Description: Contribute to backend services and APIs across the development life cycle—from design and implementation to testing and deployment—with opportunities to support frontend features alongside the team Write clean and maintainable code that is properly tested and reviewed Work closely with other software engineers, product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to build and improve products Own scoped development tasks with guidance and code reviews from a mentor and the engineering team Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related fields Passionate about coding, innovation, and solving challenging problems Curiosity, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn from feedback Good understanding of data structures and computer science fundamentals Familiarity with Go, Python, or similar programming languages Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals Familiarity with OOP, RESTful API design, relational databases, and caching systems Experience with a frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue is preferred Projects, internships, or open-source contributions that demonstrate web application development are preferred Available for a minimum commitment of 6 months starting Jan 2027 (full-time or at least 4 days per week for part-time)
