About this internship
Role Overview
In this role, you will be reporting to Regional Manager (APAC Agencies) Human Resources, Asia Regional Office. As an HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to understand and contribute to the functioning of the HR team in a multinational matrix organization. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be utilized in creating analytical records and assisting with various HR-related activities and projects.
Additionally, you will have the chance to contribute to the coordination of company campaigns and gain exposure to different facets of HR management in a regional view.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the implementation of the strategic plan within APAC scope and keep track of ongoing project plans
Provide administrative support to Regional Manager for various People activities across the region such as preparing HR documents, drafting internal communications, maintaining HR databases, analyzing HR metrics
Assist Country HR Managers to complete regional tasks such as implementing alignment of policies and processes
Assist Regional Manager and Centre of Excellence Leads to support, train and implement regionwide HR capabilities
Understand department’s processes and goals (involve in guideline/ SOP creation)
Research ways to increase productivity and engagement in applicable context.
Provide administrative support such as PowerPoint presentation, people data analysis etc
On direction from the Regional HR Manager, support other HR teams as required from time to time
Assist with intern lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and feedback
Conduct phone screenings, schedule interviews, and update recruitment data
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Proficiency in MS Office Suit i.e. PowerPoint, Excel – Pivot table and Vlookup
A genuine interest in pursuing a career in HR, previous internship experience, or relevant HR-related activities
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain high ethical standards
Availability to work part-time or full-time for the duration of the internship period
Strong analytical, administrative and organisational skills
