    About MetaComp MetaComp is a Singapore-based digital payments and financial technology company operating across digital assets, payments, FX, cross-border payments and financial infrastructure . As a regulated financial services business, regulatory developments and regulatory engagement are critical to our business growth. We are looking for a Regulatory Affairs Intern to support the Regulatory Affairs / Compliance team in monitoring regulatory developments, conducting research and assisting with regulatory projects across Singapore and other key markets. This is a strong opportunity for students interested in financial regulation, fintech, digital assets, payments, banking, law or compliance to gain hands-on exposure to a fast-growing regulated financial services company. Key Responsibilities Monitor and track regulatory developments, consultation papers, guidelines and regulatory announcements from MAS and other relevant regulators . Conduct research and analysis on regulatory requirements relating to payments, digital assets, AML/CFT, licensing, cross-border payments and financial services . Maintain regulatory trackers and databases to ensure key regulatory developments and obligations are properly documented. Support the team in conducting regulatory gap assessments and impact assessments when new regulations or regulatory guidance are introduced. Assist in preparing regulatory briefings, internal memos, presentations and management updates. Support the preparation and review of regulatory submissions, responses, applications and supporting documentation. Assist with regulatory licensing and market-entry projects across Singapore and other jurisdictions. Work with Compliance, Legal, Product, Operations and Business teams to understand the impact of regulatory requirements on business activities. Assist in maintaining regulatory policies, procedures, registers and compliance documentation. Support regulatory engagement activities, including preparation of materials and follow-up action tracking. Conduct benchmarking of regulatory requirements and industry practices across fintech, payments and digital asset companies. Support ad-hoc regulatory and compliance projects as required. These responsibilities are aligned with how financial-services regulatory internships commonly provide exposure to regulatory research, regulatory change tracking, gap assessments, policy implementation and compliance projects. Requirements Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in: Law Business Finance Economics Accounting Political Science / Public Policy or a related discipline. Strong interest in financial regulation, fintech, payments, digital assets or financial services . Strong research, analytical and critical-thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with regulatory documents and large amounts of information. Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word . Ability to independently conduct research and summarise complex information clearly. Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Prior exposure to regulatory compliance, financial services, legal research or fintech is advantageous but not required . Preferred Skills Understanding of MAS, PSA, AML/CFT or financial-services regulations . Interest in digital assets / cryptocurrency, payments and fintech regulation . Ability to interpret and summarise regulatory documents. Strong report-writing and presentation skills. Mandarin or other Asian languages would be an advantage for regional regulatory research.
