About this internship
Our client is a Singapore-based advisory and ecosystem-building firm at the forefront of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM)and the Low-Altitude Economy (LAE) in Asia.
They're looking for a structured, detail-driven intern to support research, market intelligence, and client delivery. If you enjoy turning messy information into clear, usable outputs — research briefs, market maps, competitor profiles, slide decks — this role is for you.
The role can be flexible in terms of its base location.
Why Applies?
A frontier industry.
eVTOL, drones, vertiports, autonomy — you'll be researching one of the fastest-emerging sectors in aviation, before most people know it exists.
APAC-wide exposure.
Live projects spanning Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, China, Japan and Korea — real market-entry and regulatory work, not busywork.
Direct access to founders.
You'll work directly with the founding team on client engagements, with a path to full-time conversion for strong performers.
What you'll do
Market Intelligence & Industry Research
Track developments in AAM, eVTOL, drones, vertiports, autonomy, and APAC regulatory landscapes.
Prepare market scans, trend briefs, and country-level research for priority markets.
Competitive & Stakeholder Analysis
Build competitor comparisons, benchmark tables, and stakeholder maps across OEMs, operators, airports, regulators, and investors.
Identify strategic opportunities and relevant contacts to support advisory engagements.
Client Materials & Presentation Support
Convert research and founder direction into polished slides, one-pagers, and briefing decks ready for client and partner use.
Ensure consistent structure, formatting, and quality across internal and external materials.
Regulatory & Market Entry Support
Track regulatory pathways, policy developments, and public-sector initiatives relevant to AAM across APAC.
Help prepare regulator briefing notes, market-entry playbooks, and issue summaries.
Knowledge Management
Maintain the firm's internal research library, databases, and shared drive folders.
Organize fragmented notes and source materials into clean, reusable knowledge assets.
Requirements
Currently studying or recently graduated in aviation, business, public policy, international relations, engineering, economics, or a related field.
Strong interest in start-up culture and entrepreneurship.
Strong written English with the ability to synthesize complex topics into clear, concise outputs.
Proficiency in PowerPoint or Google Slides, with a good eye for structure, formatting, and visual quality.
Comfortable using AI tools and platforms to support and accelerate your work.
Able to work independently from incomplete information and produce a solid first draft.
Meticulous attention to detail, version control, and deadlines.
Genuine interest in aviation, AAM, eVTOL, or emerging mobility technology.
Familiarity with APAC markets, consulting-style research experience, data visualization skills, or proficiency in second or third languages such as Chinese, Thai, Bahasa Indonesia, Japanese, or Korean would good due to liaison with partners from the above-mentioned markets.
