Research Data & Analytics Intern

Role Overview We are looking for a Research Data & Analytics Intern to support ongoing data, analytics, and automation work within the research team. This is a hands-on learning role, where guidance will be provided, and is suited for someone with a data foundation who is keen to apply and develop their skills in a real-world research environment. Key Responsibilities Support the organisation and maintenance of research datasets, including tenant and market data Assist with data extraction, cleaning, and basic analysis using SQL Help pull and refresh data from external sources, including working with APIs where relevant Support the preparation and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and charts Assist with structuring research databases and documentation Provide ad-hoc data and research support as required Requirements Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Python, R, JavaScript etc Exposure to SQL , with basic querying ability Basic familiarity with APIs and external data sources Exposure to Power BI or other business intelligence / data visualisation tools Comfortable working with data and learning new tools Detail-oriented and able to follow structured guidance Nice to Have (Not Required) Exposure to databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, cloud databases) Interest in market research, economics, or real estate What You’ll Gain Hands-on experience supporting real research databases and dashboards Exposure to applied analytics and data infrastructure Opportunity to work with both local and overseas datasets Mentorship and practical learning beyond coursework
