    WHO WE ARE DORS (Design Orchard Retail Showcase) , is Singapore pre-eminent multi-label store that supports top local designers in the lifestyle and fashion industries. The location serves as a creative incubator, vibrant events space, and a platform in the heart of Orchard Road for Singapore’s homegrown brands to showcase their creativity to the world. DORS houses over 100 brands in these categories, making it Singapore’s largest physical one-stop shopping destination for local labels. DORSe is the AI-powered digital channel that will fuel the growth of DORS through the merging of both digital and physical channels. DORS is run by Singapore Fashion Council (SFC), the official association for the fashion industry in Singapore. Our mission at SFC is quite simple: To create A Vibrant Asian Hub For Responsible Fashion. Key Responsibilities Customer Experience & Brand Storytelling Welcome and engage visitors, delivering an exceptional, high-touch in-store experience that reflects the DORS brand. Deliver personalized customer service and build lasting client relationships by sharing the authentic stories behind our local designers and products. Leverage customer relationship management (CRM) tools to grow a loyal customer base through proactive client engagement and follow-ups. Sales & Store Performance Support daily sales activities to help achieve store targets by driving upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Stay updated on current product knowledge, local fashion/lifestyle trends, and ongoing promotions to offer informed recommendations to shoppers. Retail Operations & Visual Standards Support day-to-day store operations, including POS cashiering, housekeeping, visual merchandising displays, and stock replenishment. Assist with inventory management, including stock counts, receiving stock, and processing transfers across 100+ local brands. Uphold store safety, security, and administrative operating procedures at all times. Events & Community Activation Assist in the execution of in-store events, brand activations, pop-ups, and seasonal campaign launches. Perform additional operational duties as assigned by the Store Manager or Retail Operations team. Key Requirements Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Retail Management, Fashion, Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field. A genuine interest in Singapore's fashion, lifestyle, and design scene, with enthusiasm for supporting homegrown brands. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, welcoming, and proactive approach to customer service. High energy, quick learner, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment with multi-label inventory. Familiarity with Point-of-Sale (POS) cashiering systems, stock-checking tools, or basic spreadsheet tools (Excel/Google Sheets) is an advantage. Able to commit to a 4-to-6-month full-time internship. Comfortable working standard retail operational hours, including rotating weekend shifts and public holidays. Why Apply for an Internship with DORS?
