About this internship
Role Purpose
The Sales Training Operations Intern will gain hands-on exposure to a regional commercial environment, supporting projects and activities across Sales Training and Sales Operations within the Asia Cluster.
With Sales Training as a key area of exposure, the intern will support regional training activities and collaboration with the Japan market, while developing practical understanding of luxury retail, customer experience and how learning is brought to life in stores.
The intern will also contribute to Sales Operations projects, gaining broader exposure to data analysis, operational processes and cross-market ways of working.

Key Responsibilities
Japan Language Support
Provide Japanese-English interpretation during meetings, working sessions and training activities involving the Japan market
Translate Japanese and English training materials and related communications, supporting language checks for accuracy and clarity
Provide language and coordination support for Japan-related Sales Training activities
Sales Training Support
Support Asia Sales Training projects and learning activities, including the preparation and organisation of training materials and resources
Conduct desk research and consolidate training feedback and relevant information to support Sales Training projects
Provide practical support for training sessions, workshops and other learning activities
Retail Experience
Conduct mystery shopping visits using an established observation framework and document factual observations of the customer experience and selling behaviours for review by the Sales Training team
Participate in store visits, training sessions and retail learning activities to build practical understanding of the store environment, customer journey and application of Sales Training in stores
Sales Operations Support
Support the Singapore centralised ordering project by consolidating and analysing store traffic and transaction data to help assess appropriate POSM quantities across different store types
Gather and consolidate information on existing policies, processes and standards across relevant markets, including Japan, to support the development and documentation of common standards for the Cluster
Where applicable, support time-and-motion studies through the collection and organisation of relevant information and observations
Candidate Requirements
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and available to undertake the required internship period
Strong proficiency in Japanese and English across speaking, reading and writing, with the ability to support Japanese-English business discussions, interpretation and Japanese-language training materials
JLPT N1 or equivalent Japanese proficiency is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues across different markets and cultural backgrounds
Organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage assigned tasks and balance multiple priorities
Comfortable working with data and information, with good analytical skills and the ability to organise and interpret information clearly
Curious and eager to learn, with an interest in retail, customer experience, learning and development, sales operations or the broader commercial environment
Comfortable working independently on clearly defined assignments as well as collaboratively within a regional team
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
