Security Engineering Intern

About the Team: The role focuses on supporting security-related projects and gaining hands-on exposure to security engineering work. The candidate will assist with reviewing security information, investigating technical issues, analyzing data, and supporting improvements to security processes and systems. Depending on project needs, the candidate may also gain exposure to security tools, automation, data analysis, and emerging technologies such as AI. This internship is suitable for someone who has a basic understanding of cybersecurity, enjoys solving problems, and is keen to learn through practical projects. Job Description: Support ongoing security projects and initiatives. Assist in reviewing and analyzing security-related information or data. Help investigate technical issues and identify potential security risks. Perform research and testing to support security projects. Document findings, processes, and recommendations. Work with different teams to understand systems and security requirements. Explore security tools, automation, and other technologies as part of assigned projects. Requirements: Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of cybersecurity and computer systems. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
