Job Responsibilities: • Process daily clearing and settlement for US equity options, including handling exercise, expiration, and exception events. • Handle settlement for margin accounts and securities lending/borrowing transactions, including interest reconciliation and margin call coordination. • Manage Free of Payment (FOP) account transfers, tracking progress and liaising with clients and counterparty brokers to ensure timely completion. • Process US equity corporate action events including dividends, stock splits, rights issues, and mergers, ensuring accurate client entitlement allocation. • Execute daily end-of-day procedures for the clearing system, reconciling positions and cash balances to ensure data integrity before market open. • Independently identify and investigate settlement exceptions; proactively drive SOP updates and workflow improvements to reduce operational risk. • Collaborate closely with Client Services, Compliance, Risk, and Technology teams to support product launches, regulatory reporting, and ad hoc projects. Job Requirements: • 3+ years of experience in US equities clearing and settlement; familiar with DTC / NSCC / OCC clearing frameworks. • Solid knowledge of settlement processes for US equity options and margin/securities lending products. • Hands-on experience handling FOP transfers and corporate actions independently. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently investigate and resolve settlement exceptions. • Good bilingual communication skills (English & Chinese); ability to liaise effectively with overseas custodians and partners. • Detail-oriented and accurate under time pressure; comfortable working across time zones. Preferred: • Background in an online broker or fintech company. • Experience writing SOPs or delivering process improvement initiatives. • Proficiency in SQL or Excel for independent reconciliation and data analysis.
