Job Description
Are you up for the challenging next step in your career? Stolthaven’s Operations department is looking for an Operator C (Operations Technician) to support the execution and maintenance of safe and reliable terminal operations.
The Operator C will assist with product movement, storage and preservation and utilities operations at the terminal site, as well as basic frontline maintenance activities, under close supervision and in compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Involved with activities sampling and basic testing to ensure that the waste water quality is within authorize requirements. The Operator C applies Workplace Safety, Health (WSH) and Environmental procedures and risk control measures to ensure work activities are carried out safely. Is a member of the Emergency Response Team and supports continuous improvement projects in the terminal.
The Operator C works on a rotating shift in a team in the field. Must be a good team player and able to interact effectively with others.

Key Responsibilities
Administer Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) and Fire and Safety Management System (FSMS)
Comply with WSH/EMS systems
Apply risk control measures to ensure work activities are carried out safely
Apply Safe System of Work (SSoW) procedures to ensure work activities are performed safely
Assist in toolbox, shift take/handover talks prior to start/end of the duty shift work activities
Perform good housekeeping in the workplace
Manage Emergency Response and Crisis
Respond to emergencies as an Emergency Response Team (ERT) member
Perform Activity Process and Utilities Operations.
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for process operations
Assist in the start-up, monitoring and shutdown of the activity units and utilities at the facility site
Assist in basic troubleshooting during all modes of operation including activity upset conditions
Assist in basic frontline maintenance, process sampling and testing
Assist in routine field data logging and reporting
Assist in preparing process equipment and work areas for mechanical, maintenance and turnaround works
Apply emerging technologies to perform process operational tasks
Administer Staff and Organizational Development
Support continuous improvement project
Qualifications
Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Chemical Process Technology
Possess minimum 2 (two) years of experience in the field of terminal or industry activities
Willing to working in Jurong Island (Company transport is provided at designated pickup point)
