About this internship
BLKJ Havas is looking for a
Social & Content Intern
under the Social, Content & Culture Team who understands that social isn’t a channel — it’s culture in motion. This role sits where strategy meets execution: translating strategic intent into strong, culturally fluent social thinking and day‑to‑day delivery.
You’ll be responsible for owning social output across platforms, leading social listening and performance, and partnering closely with clients and internal teams to ensure strategy shows up meaningfully in feeds, conversations, and communities.
This internship is a great opportunity for someone who lives online, is eager to learn how social works inside a creative agency, and wants hands-on experience across platforms, tools, and campaigns that move culture.
Job Responsibilities:
Content & Always-On Support
Assist in planning and maintaining content calendars for clients’ campaigns and always-on activity across key platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook).
Help draft captions, copy, and content ideas that align with brand voice and platform best practices.
Conduct research and communicate with stakeholders to identify and shape content ideas.
Support content scheduling, publishing, and asset management; proofread and check posts before they go live.
Help coordinate with creative and production teams to keep content on time, to standard, and on brief.
Community Management
Monitor comments, messages, and mentions across brand pages; draft responses for review in line with community guidelines.
Flag sensitive, negative, or high-risk conversations to the social team promptly.
Support proactive stakeholder engagement by helping to identify and draft comments and interactions on relevant industry partners and stakeholder pages.
Social Listening & Trend Spotting
Support day-to-day social listening using tools such as Sprout Social or Brandwatch.
Track conversations, sentiment, emerging trends, and cultural moments relevant to our brands.
Summarise findings into short insight notes and suggest content opportunities.
Conduct desk research on competitors, platform updates, and industry trends.
Performance & Reporting
Pull social performance data from platform analytics and listening tools.
Help compile regular performance reports and post-campaign summaries.
Share observations on what’s working (and what isn’t) to help the team optimise ongoing activity.
Team & Client Support
Sit in on client meetings and internal reviews; take notes and help follow up on action items.
Help prepare decks for social media channel audits, social strategy, content ideas, performance updates, and brainstorm sessions.
Maintain organised records of content trackers, approvals, and project files.
Contribute ideas during brainstorms and internal team discussions.
Be a reliable team player who is proactive in seeking clarity and offering support.
Requirements:
Students or recent graduates in Marketing, Mass Communications, Advertising, New Media, or related fields.
A genuine passion for social media, internet culture, creativity and how brands show up in conversations.
Good understanding of social media platform formats, trends and behaviours especially on Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.
Strong writing skills, creative flair for visual and an attention to detail.
Confident facing communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Organised, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Curious and willing to learn; comfortable taking initiative.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
A plus: experience running a personal, student, or brand social account; basic design or editing skills (e.g. Canva, CapCut, Adobe); exposure to social listening or analytics tools.
*Kindly note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.*
