[What you will be working on] Content Creation & Creative Development Develop creative concepts for NLB's social media platforms across reading, literary, historical, cultural and lifestyle themes. Support content planning by proposing fresh ideas for social media campaigns, content series and audience engagement initiatives. Contribute to copywriting and creative development across various digital content formats. Stay updated on social media trends, platform best practices and audience interests to inspire engaging content ideas. Content Production & Execution Support end-to-end production of multimedia content, from conceptualisation and scripting to filming, editing and publishing. Create engaging social media content across multiple formats, including short-form videos, graphics and written content for platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Assist with video production activities including filming, interviews, talent coordination, camera operation and on-location shoots. Edit videos and create supporting visual assets using graphics, captions and basic motion elements to produce platform-optimised content. Be willing to appear on camera when required to support content production. Production & Project Support Support production logistics including shoot preparation, equipment setup, resource coordination and creative asset management. Maintain organised content libraries and assist with content planning, scheduling and production workflows. Demonstrate adaptability, organisation and a willingness to learn new creative tools, production techniques and emerging social media trends. [What we are looking for] Open to students from all disciplines; students with a background in Mass Communication, Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, Digital Media Production, Digital Content Creation, Film-making, Journalism, Creative Arts, Visual Communication are particularly encouraged to apply. Experience creating engaging content for social media and digital platforms, including short-form video content. Familiarity with the end-to-end content creation process, including ideation, scripting, filming, editing and publishing. Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Familiarity with motion graphics or animation tools (e.g. Adobe After Effects) is an advantage. Good understanding of social media platforms, content trends and what drives audience engagement. Comfortable appearing on camera and adapting communication styles for different platforms and audiences. Creative mindset with an eye for visual storytelling and attention to detail. Strong organisational, interpersonal and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple content production tasks. Duration: min 12 weeks and beyond
