🚀 ABOUT RENTLY & THE ROLE Rently is a fast-growing proptech startup shaking up the rental industry across Singapore, the UAE, and Hong Kong. We’re making renting fairer, faster, and deposit-free for everyone, and we’re looking for a dynamic, creative Social Media Intern based in Singapore who speaks Cantonese and has a strong understanding of Hong Kong audiences, culture, and social media trends. If you love being in front of the camera, have a knack for creating scroll-stopping content, and can spot trends before they blow up, this is for you. What You'll Work On 🎬 Create, edit, and post engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. 🇭🇰 Create locally relevant content that resonates with Hong Kong audiences. 💡 Jump into content planning sessions and pitch fresh campaign ideas. 🔥 Stay ahead of social media trends, tools, and best practices, particularly those relevant to Hong Kong. 💬 Reply to comments and messages on Rently’s channels. 🎙️ Collaborate on podcast-style interview videos and short-form content. 🗣️ Create and appear in Cantonese and English-language content where appropriate. 📈 Bring insights on Hong Kong culture, consumer behaviour, and local trends into our content strategy. What We're Looking For 📍 Currently based in Singapore and able to work in a hybrid environment. 🗣️ Fluent in Cantonese, with a good command of English. 🇭🇰 Strong understanding of Hong Kong culture, audiences, and social media trends. 🎥 Comfortable being in front of the camera and creating content for Hong Kong audiences. 🎨 Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and CapCut. 📅 Familiarity with social media scheduling tools. ✨ Strong communication skills and a creative mindset. 🤝 Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. ⭐ Bonus: Familiarity with Hong Kong’s property, rental, lifestyle, or proptech sectors.
