Social Media & Marketing Intern

Cloud9 beauty bar is looking for a creative, proactive and social-media-savvy Marketing Intern to join our growing team. This role is suitable for someone who enjoys social media, content creation, beauty and lifestyle, and wants hands-on experience working on real marketing campaigns. You will work closely with the marketing team to create content, research trends, support campaigns, and help grow our presence across platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. Job Responsibilities •⁠  ⁠Assist with social media content creation, scheduling and posting •⁠  ⁠Support TikTok and Instagram content planning •⁠  ⁠Brainstorm creative content ideas, concepts and campaigns •⁠  ⁠Assist with photo and video shoots •⁠  ⁠Help create short-form videos, Reels and TikTok content •⁠  ⁠Research current social media trends, viral formats and content opportunities •⁠  ⁠Conduct competitor and industry research •⁠  ⁠Assist with influencer/KOL research and campaign coordination where required •⁠  ⁠Support promotional campaigns, launches and marketing activities •⁠  ⁠Assist with basic content editing and visual creation •⁠  ⁠Support day-to-day marketing tasks and ad-hoc projects •⁠  ⁠Monitor content performance and identify ideas that can improve engagement and reach Requirements •⁠  ⁠Creative, proactive and willing to learn •⁠  ⁠Good communication and teamwork skills •⁠  ⁠Familiar with TikTok, Instagram and current social media trends •⁠  ⁠Comfortable brainstorming and contributing content ideas •⁠  ⁠Responsible, organised and able to manage assigned tasks independently •⁠  ⁠Positive attitude and willingness to take initiative •⁠  ⁠Basic Canva, CapCut or video-editing skills are a bonus •⁠  ⁠Interest in beauty, skincare, lifestyle, content creation or social media is a plus •⁠  ⁠No extensive prior marketing experience required — we value attitude, creativity and willingness to learn Who This Role Is Suitable For This role would be a good fit if you: •⁠  ⁠Spend time on TikTok or Instagram and naturally notice new trends •⁠  ⁠Enjoy creating or brainstorming social media content •⁠  ⁠Have an eye for aesthetics, beauty or lifestyle content •⁠  ⁠Want to understand how brands grow through social media •⁠  ⁠Are comfortable learning through hands-on experience •⁠  ⁠Want more than an internship where you only perform administrative work You do not need to know everything from day one.
