About this internship
Now Hiring at Weavve Home:
Social Media Executive (Internship)
Who we are
Are you ready to become part of a brand that's redefining luxury and comfort in homes? At Weavve, our mission is to transform homes into havens of relaxation and make a good night’s sleep accessible to everyone; and we're searching for individuals who are just as passionate about making this a reality.
In our endless search for simple yet appealing home products, we were often faced with frustration and were disappointed at what was available in the market. As such, we started Weavve in 2019 and have stood firmly by one belief since: each Weavve essential is designed to be exactly what we’d enjoy using in our very own homes.
What you'll do
Weavve is a multi-channel business spanning both B2C and B2B segments, across e-commerce and physical retail. We're seeking a social media executive intern to create engaging, scroll-stopping content for our social channels: from ideating and filming to editing and publishing. You'll be hands-on across the full content creation process, appearing in videos, filming independently when directed (including off-site shoots), and bringing our brand to life on platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
Job description & duties
Ideate, film and edit short-form video content for our social media channels (e.g. Instagram Reels, TikTok).
Appear on camera in marketing video content (e.g. presenting products, hosting segments and bringing personality to our brand).
Film content independently when directed, including off-site shoots where required (e.g. events, locations outside the office)
Design and produce static and graphic content using Canva
Edit video content using CapCut, including cuts, captions, transitions, music and trending formats
Support the planning and scheduling of the social media content calendar
Stay on top of social media trends, sounds and formats, and propose content ideas that fit our brand
Assist with basic tracking of social media performance (e.g. views, engagement, follower growth) and learn what makes content work
Requirements
Based in Singapore, and able to commit to a minimum 6-month internship.
Experienced or proficient in Canva and CapCut, with good video editing abilities.
Not camera shy, comfortable and willing to appear in marketing video content (this is important to us!).
Able to work independently when directed, including filming content on your own.
Willing to film content off-site where required.
A portfolio or examples of previous work reflecting these skills is required (e.g. videos you've edited, content you've created or appeared in, school projects and personal accounts count as well).
Basic understanding of social media metrics is a good to have.
A love for home products and great design will be a big plus!
