    Company Description : Tangled Monk is a design house dedicated to bringing art into everyday life beyond traditional walls. The studio’s work begins with hand-drawn, meditative artworks created with patience, intention, and attention to detail in line, form, and emotion. These original pieces are transformed into curated homeware, soft furnishings, and design ensembles that integrate art into daily living spaces. Every design is rooted in hours of careful handwork, where the creative process is valued as highly as the finished product. Applicants will join a small, craft-focused team that values mindfulness, quality, and thoughtful design. Role Description - What You'll Do: Own the Tangled Monk social media channels (including Instagram and WhatsApp) — Feed, Stories, Reels, the whole thing Plan and execute content shoots (products, lifestyle, flat lays, on-location) Develop a monthly content calendar that balances brand storytelling with commercial goals Write captions that actually sound human and on-brand Stay on top of trends, sounds, and formats — and know which ones are worth jumping on Edit and post Reels Engage with the community — replies, DMs, comments — in a genuine way Track performance and bring learnings back to improve content Collaborate with the wider team on campaign launches and product drops PR & Visibility Support (a smaller part of the role, alongside your social media work): Spot GEO-boosting opportunities — reaching out to listicle and gift-guide authors (e.g. “best home decor Singapore,” “unique gifts Singapore”) to get Tangled Monk included Build, outreach and maintain a running list of local publications, design blogs, and galleries worth pitching Tangled Monk to Draft short, on-brand outreach notes for feature, collaboration, or stockist enquiries, for review before sending Track press mentions, backlinks, and collaboration replies, and flag what’s worth following up on Qualifications Fresher or up to 1 year of experience in social media, content creation, or a related field (Marketing, Communications, Design). Comfortable shooting on a DSLR, mirrorless, or even an iPhone — you know how to work with what you've got Basic knowledge of Digital Marketing and Marketing principles, including audience targeting and campaign support. Good written English with a casual, confident tone. With the ability to adapt tone to brand guidelines. Familiarity with simple design or editing tools (e.g., Adobe Suite, Canva, basic photo/video editing) is an advantage. Bonus Points If You Like Strong foundation in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation, with an understanding of platform best practices and trends. Interest in design, art, or lifestyle brands, with an eye for aesthetics and visual storytelling. Have shot or styled for a lifestyle, F&B, fashion, or design brand Know your way around Instagram Insights and can talk about what actually drives growth Have a knack for sourcing props, locations, and styling details on a budget Follow local design/lifestyle editorial (Tatler Singapore, Vogue Singapore, Peppermint) and have a sense of who covers home, art, and gifting stories
