Please apply via this link: https://www.augmentus.tech/careers/software-developer-intern-sg/ About Your Role Develop and Maintain Software Solutions Design, implement, and optimize software modules using C# and Python to support automation and industrial processes. Collaborate with the team to enhance and expand existing features for improved user experience and functionality. Prototype and Experiment in a Sandbox Environment Work within a dedicated sandbox/Unity-based kinematic repo for rapid prototyping and algorithm testing. Assist in experimenting with robotic control logic, path planning, and 3D data workflows. Data Processing and Validation Support data collection, cleaning, and formatting for robotics and vision datasets. Help validate algorithms and code modules related to robot programming and 3D data manipulation. Perform testing and debugging to ensure software reliability and consistency. Contribute to Product Development Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and translate them into efficient software modules. Participate in brainstorming sessions to innovate and deliver cutting-edge features. Learn and Grow in Robotic Programming Leverage internal training to develop expertise in robotic systems and machine vision. Requirements Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program — Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. Some hands-on experience with sensors or hardware — cameras, 3D scanners, LiDAR, robot arms, or similar. A university or personal project counts. Strong proficiency in C#, C++, Python, or Java. Good grasp of object-oriented programming and writing clean, readable code. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and software development life cycles. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good to have Experience with computer vision or 3D data. Experience with 3D software such as Blender or Unity. Familiarity with Agile practices (Jira, Confluence).
