GATD Website: https://corp.rakuten.co.jp/careers/feature/adtech/en/ The Software engineer intern will be part of the Affiliate Team at Rakuten, contributing to the development and optimization of affiliate systems that power various Rakuten Group products, including Rakuten Ichiba, Rakuten Travel. This Service is responsible for handling large number of requests every day handling huge volumes of Data. Once Joined, the Intern will work on productivity and quality improvement tasks gaining hands-on experience with impactful projects. Your main responsibility will be to understand and complete the tasks assigned. Understand the current system (web application) Develop new features using Java and React JS following the team’s software development life cycle. Write unit-tests and integration-tests. Create documents to capture the technical design decisions that you and other team members have made. Qualifications: Curiosity and Passion for solving problems Basic of JavaScript, ReactJs and Java programming Familiarity with SQL or no-SQL technologies is a plus Familiarity with Spring Boot Positive attitude and excellent team player Good written and spoken communication skills.
