Role Description
As a Software Engineer Intern at SendOS, you will work full-time on-site in Singapore, collaborating with engineers to design, build, and maintain backend services that power our AI-driven workflows. You will help implement features, fix bugs, and contribute to scalable APIs and microservices that support real-time decision-making and learning in the platform. Day-to-day, you will write clean, testable code, review peers’ work, and participate in design discussions and code reviews. You will also assist with performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting issues in production-like environments, while learning best practices in secure, reliable software delivery. This internship offers hands-on experience with modern development tools and the opportunity to contribute to products used by real customers.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and fundamental software engineering principles.
Skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or similar).
Understanding of Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, server-side frameworks, and working with databases.
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to design modular, maintainable code.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to learn quickly, work effectively in a team, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues.
Experience with cloud platforms, containers, or basic DevOps practices is a plus.
