Your Role
As a
Software Engineer Intern (People Department),
you will report to the Organizational Development Manager within the Centre of Excellence (COE) sub-department, based in Singapore with potential exposure to our global operations across 7 regions. You will work closely with the OD team, regional HRBPs, and the Quality & Capability Development team to drive data-driven HR initiatives and support our AI transformation journey. This role is critical in establishing robust HR analytics capabilities, automating HR processes, and building the foundation for AI-augmented workforce management as we scale from 480 to 750+ employees by end-2026.
Your Responsibilities
AI and Data Management:
Manage AI-power internal platforms & talent dashboards, including features optimization, knowledge base management, prompt optimization and debugging technical problems
Develop proof-of-concepts for automating repetitive HR processes using no-code/low-code platforms
Develop internal knowledge base, documentation and training materials for AI tool adoption across the HR department
Refresh & clean market talent database on GCP; optimize data management practice
Systems Integration & Automation Initiatives:
Assist in optimizing HiBob HRIS configurations and workflows across productivity systems via Webhook, API and/or MCP
Map current HR processes and identify automation opportunities to reduce administrative burden
Support global payroll implementation projects by maintaining data mapping documents
Collaborate with IT team on HR systems integration projects
Internship Availability
Minimum commitment of 3 months, but longer commitment would be preferred (i.e. 6 months).
Full-time commitment is preferred, but those who are able to commit to a minimum of 2 working days are welcome to apply.
Able to start from October 2026
What Makes You a Great Fit
Job Experience & Education:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
Previous internship experience in HR, data analytics, or business intelligence is advantageous
Demonstrated academic or project experience with data analysis and visualization
Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information.
Technical and Functional Skills:
Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data modeling) and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Basic understanding of HRIS platforms (HiBob experience is a plus) and HR metrics/KPIs
Familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) and enthusiasm for exploring AI applications in HR
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to identify patterns in complex datasets
Excellent communication skills to translate data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
Self-motivated learner with curiosity about emerging HR technologies and willingness to experiment with new tools
