Description
We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented iSTEM students to join our QA team as Software Quality Assurance Interns
.
In this role, you will work closely with experienced engineers and QA professionals to build your technical testing skills while ensuring the quality and stability of our software products. You will support both manual and automated testing efforts, helping us catch bugs early, refine test coverage, and deliver robust applications used by actual users.
This internship gives you the opportunity to dive deep into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), explore modern testing frameworks and API tools, and gain hands-on exposure to real-world software delivery. You will be part of a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you can learn, experiment, contribute ideas, and see how quality engineering drives real-world impact.
The role offers a monthly stipend of SGD 800 - 1,200 for successful applicant.
Responsibilities
Assist in executing manual tests to ensure software functionality and quality.
Draft and maintain clear and comprehensive test cases and test plans.
Learn and apply QA processes, tools, and techniques for testing, debugging, and documentation.
Develop basic automation scripts using appropriate programming languages and testing frameworks/architecture.
Identify, document, and report bugs and test findings accurately and efficiently.
Prepare user guides and relevant documentation for internal and external users.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Higher Nitec from the School of Electronics & Info-comm Technology or School of Engineering, or a Diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Basic understanding of programming/scripting languages.
Basic knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
Basic hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
Familiarity with test case design, types of testing and flexibility in solution finding approaches.
Basic API concepts and basic API testing tools.
Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a team-oriented environment.
