The Strategy & Business Reform Centre drives and delivers Abdul Latif Jameel’s corporate strategy, and provides the strategic direction, business development oversight and digital transformation push across all Abdul Latif Jameel businesses. About the role As an S&P intern with the Strategy & Business Reform Centre (SBRC) in Singapore, you will be part of the team that helps to chart and drive the medium to long term direction of Abdul Latif Jameel. Your responsibilities may include, both in a supporting and leading role: Analysis and management of Abdul Latif Jameel portfolio of businesses and strategic business units (SBUs); ensure portfolio composition is in line with and contributing to the overarching Abdul Latif Jameel corporate strategy Management of the annual strategy planning cycle, working with SBUs to develop and refine business strategies in alignment with the overarching Abdul Latif Jameel corporate strategy Provision of market research and insights to SBUs on both a “push” and “pull” basis in order to inform the development and refinement of business strategies Review of SBU business performance in order to identify areas of improvement and develop remediation action plans together with SBUs You will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the development of insights, strategies, and presentations to chart Abdul Latif Jameel’s future. Requirements We’re looking for individuals who are: Currently in an undergraduate degree with an expected graduation date in 2028 OR Currently in a master’s programme and have less than 2 years of experience Candidates from all academic majors are encouraged to apply You will be a great match if you: Possess the ability to rapidly acquire and understand new information and knowledge relevant to the formulation of strategy and investment decisions Are proficient in translating data into actionable insights and digestible formats for the business, with sharp business acumen Are an effective team player who is comfortable working across a variety of roles and functions, with a demonstrated understanding of corporate structures and decision pathways Are comfortable dealing with ambiguity and complex scenarios; able to zoom in and out of a situation with an appreciation for both the micro and macro landscapes involved Possess the ability to communicate in an effective and efficient manner, both verbally and through written/presentation means Have strong attention to detail with excellent organisational, planning and coordination skills
