Internships will start in January 2027. Students who can commit full-time will be preferred. Join us as a Sustainability Analytics Intern to make an impact! You will join the SERE team, Global Supply Chain where you will assist on Sustainability program for our corporate and site teams. Location: Kallang Passionate about sustainability and ready to gain real-world experience? We're offering an internship where you'll support environmental and social initiatives that drive meaningful change. This is your chance to learn, contribute, and build a foundation for a career in sustainability. What will you do? Key Technical Projects: Project Title: Develop Predictive Models for Energy Performance Indicator (EnPI) Technical Details: You will be using R for EnPI modelling (e.g. Multivariate Regression) and to establish theoretical baselines for energy consumption. These models will need to incorporate panel data techniques (e.g. time-specific/entity-specific effects) and statistical analysis to account for site-level heterogeneity and seasonal patterns. Project Title: Automate and Enhance Analytical Tableau Dashboard Technical Details: You will be using Python/SQL scripts to automate Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and periodic data refreshes for the Analytical Tableau dashboard. This includes validating data sources, streamlining data pipelines, and integrating regional sustainability metrics to deliver accurate, real-time insights that support strategic decision-making. Project Title: Automate Data Validation Checks Technical Details: You will be using Python/SQL to reconcile and detect data inconsistencies across more than 30 data streams by designing automated data validation scripts. This includes implementing integrity checks, anomaly detection algorithms, and rule-based validation logic to ensure compliance with CSRD audit standards. General Roles and Responsibilities: Create and execute data analyses, data collection systems, and other tactics that maximize statistical efficiency and quality to improve the region's health, safety, and environment. Use statistical approaches to interpret data and analyze results. Assist in driving the improvement of Schneider Electric Ecostruxure (e.g., Resource Advisor and Power Monitoring Expert). Support Schneider Electric sustainability programs to improve energy and environemntal programs in the regions. Gather, organize, analyze, and disseminate information for Health, Safety, and Environment business evaluations with attention to detail and accuracy. What qualifications will make you successful? Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field. Candidates majoring in Environmental or Sustainability disciplines with a minor in analytics-related fields are also encouraged to apply. Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, SQL, or R, with strong capability in data analysis and problem-solving. Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to effectively utilize productivity tools to support business and analytical needs. Demonstrates strong analytical thinking, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a dynamic business environment. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and thrive in a fast-paced, international team setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a proactive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to achieving objectives. What's in it for me?
